N-Scale Model Trains
Apex Model Train Company, LLC offers a broad range of N-scale model railroad products for both the beginner and advanced modeler. Most products are featured and sold in our eBay store. We also offer limited items in other model railroad scales, plastic model kits, railroad decorations, magazines and books.
Each train is inspected for damage, missing parts, exterior cleanliness and operating condition. Defects are reported in our listings.
Most rolling stock receive wheel cleaning.
If parts are available, we repair damaged or non-working trains with manufacturer parts.
Each locomotive is tested on our demonstration layout and we provide videos in our eBay listings showing how the locomotive performs.
Rolling stock missing their original storage cases are fitted into a replacement cases or boxes with a tray card labels and cushioning material.
Trains and accessories which cannot be fixed or reconditioned are sold or recycled for parts, or are repurposed in special projects.

If you would like to sell your N-Scale model train collection, please contact us for a quote. We make the process of selling a collection a hassle-free experience. Currently, we only purchase collections and do not offer consignment. See below for more information or contact us if you are considering selling your collection.
Unfortunately, we are not currently buying any other scales of model trains unless they are part of a collection which includes a majority of N-Scale items.

An inventory list with the quantity, manufacturer, model number, condition, and whether the original box is included; OR
Photos of the collection.
If you need a sample inventory list, we can email a fillable list in PDF, Excel or Numbers formats.

If our offer price for the collection is accepted, we write up a purchase contract and schedule shipment or pickup of the collection.
Payment by cashier’s check is made upon pickup or within 3 business days of receiving the shipment.
